A longtime community advocate, Belleci served for 16 years on the City’s Planning Commissionalong with six years as Chair before being appointed to the University Place City Council last year after UP City Councilwoman Jean Brooks passed away.

Belleci is now seeking election to Council Seat #7. She is running against challenger .

Public safety, economic development and ensuring a balanced budget to meet both community needsand debt obligations are among Belleci’s priorities for the future. Belleci’s extensive community involvement includes the UP Festival, UP Volunteer Banquet, Christmas Tree Lighting, CurranOrchard Cider Squeeze, Farmer’s Market and Curtis NJROTC Boosters, along with serving on Pierce County’s Master Site Plan Committee for the Chambers Creek Properties.

Belleci’s community commitment, analytical skills and demonstrated ability to work well withothers in developing solutions for complicated issues make her well suited to continue serving on the University Place City Council.
