ELECTION: Dick Muri Gets Bump From Tacoma Rifle & Revolver Club

He, along with gubernatorial candidate Rob McKenna, got the bump from the University Place gun club.

Pierce County Councilman and U.S. House candidate Dick Muri received the endorsement of the Tacoma Rifle & Revolver Club on Wednesday.  Dick shared the honor with  gubernatorial candidate and current Washington State Attorney General Rob McKenna, who was endorsed simultaneously.

Dick Muri has a strong record of supporting 2nd Amendment rights and his views align closely with those of the Tacoma Rifle and Revolver Club. As a member of the Pierce County Council, Muri was instrumental in passing legislation that opened up large areas of previously closed land to sportsmen’s use. In 2010 he received an A+ rating from the National Rifle Association (NRA).

Responding to the endorsement, Councilman Muri said “the Tacoma Rifle and Revolver Club has a solid history of protecting public safety while working to provide opportunities to local sportsmen”.
