County Council To Meet In Fircrest

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m., Sept. 20 at Fircrest City Hall. Officials are expected to hear reports from both University Place and Fircrest.

The Pierce County Council will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 20, in Fircrest.

The County Council, which normally meets Tuesdays in its chambers in the County-City Building in Tacoma, holds at least one meeting a year in each of the seven council districts, as required by the Pierce County Charter. Fircrest is now in District 4 under the redistricting plan that took effect this summer, and that district is represented by Tim Farrell.

The Sept. 20 meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at Fircrest City Hall, 115 Ramsdell St. The agenda includes briefings by the cities of Fircrest and University Place, as well as consideration of proposals regarding county salaries and the future of parks.
