Clearview Building's Residential Units Will Be Move-In Ready By Early Next Summer, SEB Says

The owners and developers of the multistory building currently under construction in University Place broke the news via "Business is UP," the city's economic development television segment.

One of University Place's most-anticipated projects - a mixed-use building under construction at Town Center - is scheduled to welcome its first residential guests by early next summer.

That's what Steve and Kevin Berg of SEB, Incorporated, the project's developer, told the public on a new segment of "Business is UP," the city's economic development television program currently airing on UPTV and available on the city's website. It's moderated by University Place Assistant City Manager and Economic Development Director Mariza Craig.

Steve Berg said he expects the project will house a mix of residents 55 years and older, as well as students. It will feature a community gym, barbecue and a spa area.

Of course, the big question that residents and much of University Place wants answered: What will occupy the retail spaces on the ground floor?

They'll have to continue waiting for that answer for now. Eric Berg said the owners don't have any leases signed, but there's been plenty of interest.
