Chambers Creek Properties Pedestrian Bridge Reopens Today
The bridge at Central Meadow has been closed since the Feb. 26 train derailment.
Good news for beach-goers. Here's the message I received from Pierce County:
"The popular Bridge to the Beach at Chambers Creek Properties will reopen tomorrow morning, March 12, at dawn. Access will return to the standard dawn to dusk schedule.
The bridge and beach were closed after a BNSF train derailed next to Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place on Feb. 26."
