ROBERT BALES: 8-Year-Old Witness Tells Media Outlet He Wasn't Alone

The child told SBS Dateline in Australia that other Americans were present during the rampage that left 17 people dead earlier this month in Afghanistan.

Could accused Afghanistan shooter been part of a group of Americans who conducted a nighttime killing spree earlier this month?

According to an interview with Yalda Hakim, a journalist with SBS Dateline of Australia, an 8-year-old witness to the killings claims the Joint Base Lewis-McChord soldier and Lake Tapps man wasn't acting alone.

According to MSNBC, the children whom Hakim interviewed said other Americans were there holding flashlights:

Noorbinak, 8, told Hakim that the shooter first shot her father’s dog. Then, Noorbinak said in the video, he shot her father in the foot and dragged her mother by the hair. When her father started screaming, he shot her father, the child says. Then he turned the gun on Noorbinak and shot her in the leg ...

A brother of one victim told Hakim that his brother’s children mentioned more than one soldier wearing a headlamp. They also had lights at the end of their guns, he said.

“They don’t know whether there were 15 or 20, however many there were,” he said in the video.

It's unclear whether the Army will consider the information in its investigation into the killings, for which Bales, 38, has been charged with . He is currently being held in pre-trial confinement at Fort Leavenworth, KS.

I am sure `crack' will be the next drug to be legalized by Washington, as the taxes from marijuanaRead More will never be enough..! I am sure all the `illegal' suppliers will just give up, and get a license/permit to distribute and send their take to the government..lol (Nightmare on Market Street??)

West Side Branch logo

I wonder how much this `re-branding' cost?? Perhaps the City of UP could get a deal on what theyRead More want to spend on `re-branding'! It still sounds like Tacoma is the preferred branch of Pierce County - that is, why is not `Pierce County Chamber of Commerce' - and what is the implied difference between `west side' and `south county' ? And, of course, that begs the question - is there an` east side' and a `north county' that is being ignored?? I don't know why I am so confused..maybe because their new logo has a haunting resemblance to that of a former company that went bankrupt... And, lastly, let us hope that `business in motion' is moving into our county, and not out of it..
