wants to help the 2,000 or so homeless residents of Pierce County do something that most of us take for granted: walk with shoes.

According to the University Place and Lakewood fire department's Facebook page, West Pierce is "teaming up with to help collect shoes for the homeless to be distributed at Project Homeless Connect on Oct. 26th at the Tacoma Dome."
