POLICE BLOTTER, June 7

Police responded to reports of gunshots fired and a weapons incident at a local school.

University Place Police responded to two incidents that seemed serious but didn't turn up much.

And despite Saturday's Duck Daze festivities and prom night at Curtis High, there were no major incidents.

June 5

- Authorities responded to a report of vandalism around 3 p.m., at the intersection of Cirque Drive and Park Ridge Drive West. No arrests were made.

June 3

- A drive-by shooting was reported around 1:30 a.m., at a residence in the 3700 block of Tahoma Place West. Police investigated the scene but couldn't turn up a victim or suspect. The reporting party found shells on his lawn.

June 1

- Authorities arrested a 14-year-old boy for bringing a folding knife to Drum Intermediate School. After police spoke to the boy, they released him back to the school.
