A motorcyclist who was involved in a collision on Interstate 5 near Gravelly Lake Drive on Sunday has died.
Thomas J. Wear, 59, of Jackson City, TN, who was wearing a helmet, died at Tacoma General Hospital.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the crash occurred around 9 a.m., on northbound I-5. Both vehicles were headed in the same direction when the motorcyclist passed a Subaru Legacy and failed to negotiate the curve, and hit the car.
The two people in the car were not injured.
