Man in Disguise Linked to Third Bank Robbery in Two Weeks

The male suspect entered the bank and showed the teller a note demanding cash. The man took the money and walked out of the bank.

The man, linked to at least two bank robberies in the last two weeks, has struck yet again in Tacoma.

At 1:15 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, the pictured suspect robbed an American West Bank located in the 1000 block of A Street in downtown Tacoma.  

The suspect entered the bank and showed the teller a note demanding cash. The man took the money and walked out of the bank.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 50s, approximately 6-feet tall and 190 lbs. 

During the robbery he was seen wearing a tan collared shirt, a brown baseball hat, blue jeans, sunglasses and an orange construction vest with bright yellow reflective stripes on the shoulders.

Detectives believe this suspect may also be responsible for a bank robbery on July 31 at a Key Bank on E. 72nd St. and on Aug. 2 at a Key Bank on S. 19th St. in the City of Tacoma.

Crime Stoppers of Tacoma/Pierce County is offering up to $1,000 for any information leading to the arrest and charges filed for the person in this case.
