Get Certified with West Pierce Fire & Rescue

Take the basic CPR and First Aide class with West Pierce Fire and Rescue on Saturday, July 20.

Summer sets the South Sound in a frenzy, as people dive in to local watering holes or head out on adventure in one of countless adventures.  

Be prepared in the outdoors and get certified in first aid and CPR with West Pierce Fire and Rescue this Saturday. The class will be held at the WPFR Lakewood Station, on 10928 Pacific Highway SW.

Description:
 This course does NOT meet the requirements for the Healthcare Provider course. It is a basic First Aid & CPR course.

• The course is subject to cancellation if the class minimum of 4 people is not met.

• One person, adult, child and infant CPR with airway management, first aid for choking, control of bleeding, splinting, bandaging, first aid for burns, sprains, strains, poison control, and other first aid procedures are covered. This course meets Labor & Industries and Department of Social & Health Services Standards.

• This is an 8-hour class held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Pre-registration and pre-payment are required.

• Cards are recognized for 2 years.
