Fire At Teriyaki Restaurant Under Investigation

An employee of the restaurant called 911 when he smelled smoke.

Crews responded to a fire at Kim's Wok & Teriyaki on Sunday night.

On Sunday, May 8 at approximately 10:10 p.m., firefighters responded to a commercial fire located at 2620 Bridgeport Way West.  The first crews were on scene within three minutes and saw smoke coming from the side of the building.  This building contained multiple businesses and the fire was determined to be coming from a teriyaki restaurant.

An employee of the restaurant called 911 when he smelled smoke.  The fire was contained to that business and did not extend to the other two. 

No injuries were reported as a result of the fire and the cause is currently under investigation.
