UPDATE: Round Table Pizza Takeover is CANCELED Due to Weather

The snowy weather prompted organizers to cancel and reschedule for an undetermined date.

This comes from Patty Mannie, who e-mailed Patch to let us know that the event has been canceled. Thanks a lot, snow.

The 2nd Annual Roundtable Pizza Takeover with West Pierce Fire & Rescue and UP Police Department on Tuesday January 17th has been CANCELLED due to inclement weather.  This fun event will be re-scheduled at a later date and time.

And inevitably, whenever you put UP’s hogs and hoses in the same room, polite trash talk is bound to ensue.

Nobody knows what will happen Tuesday, when the community hosts the 2nd Annual Pizza Takeover, when a portion of the restaurant’s receipts from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., will benefit parks and recreation programs.

“Dine with your family, see your neighbors or meet new friends,” UP supporter Patty Mannie said. “You won’t leave hungry.”
