Blair Gets Kudos From Chief, Mayor
University Place recognized UP Police Sgt. Mike Blair for being awarded Officer Of The Year by the Pierce County Sheriff's Department.
He didn't say much Monday night, but Sgt. Mike Blair's over the last year was enough.
The University Place City Council honored Blair for his work and recognized him for being named Officer of the Year by the Pierce County Sheriff's Department.
Blair, who towered over Mayor Debbie Klosowski as she read the proclamation, didn't give a speech or anything like that, but the people who gave him a standing ovation likely didn't think he needed to.
