For those who live in University Place, and want to know what's happening with a TOWN CENTER PURCHASE AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT (Town Center includes Windmill Village next to Homestead Park, by the way) here is the link to tomorrow night's - Nov 4th 2013 - agenda. I wonder if a possible sale would be enough to cover current debts and improvements to the civic building to warrant relocating city hall (even after the rumored advice from the UP Finance Director NOT to move there), AND what effect it will have with access to Homestead Park and the annual activities there? Will THEY be tax exempt for 7 years as the new apartment building located next to the civic building is?? ....Will we say goodbye to Treasures in the Park & the annual Plant Show and Sale?
