Medley believes his opponent has been in office too long and a new, fresh perspective is needed.
Medley believes in transparency and openness in politics. He also believes in running on his own merit, which is why he has chosen not to seek endorsements. He believes endorsements create conflicts of interest while tending to city business.

Medley "refuses" endorsements yet is endorsed by Helen DeRosa Ames one of the most notorious criminal minds in Viafore's city council.
Correct me if I am wrong but Darren and Myshile Waltier are family members of sitting city council member [Viafore "wink-and-nod"] Denny Waltier.
Viafore is notorious for hand-picking weak candidates to run against his "career city council"...
No matter who wins election or reelection to Fircrest City Council it is a "win-win" for Viafore and corruption as usual.
Viafore, Ames, McVay, Gruver, Jolibois, Waltier, have a very long combined history [1997-2013] of fraud, civil rights crimes, obstruction of justice, intimidation, extortion, bid-fixing, kick-backs, censorship, color of law, conspiracy, disregard of oath...
