Felt like a war zone...

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I am not a "party pooper" and I like fireworks as much as the next guy but the fireworks on this Independence Day made me feel like I was in a war zone.  I'm sure, by the loudness of the booms and the shuddering of my windows, these can't be legal, yet every year my poor dogs and I are subjected to this nonsense.   I can tell myself that I probably won't get hit by flying debris but my dogs can't reason that way.  They were literally trembling with fear.  When is University Place going to come to it's senses about allowing this behavior.  It's (past) time to ban fireworks in University place.
