OBITUARY: Harold Larson, 1938-2011
One of the highlights of his career was signing a contract to play baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals. He died June 3.
Harold L. Larson
Born 3/19/1938 to Cora and (Olsen) Erick Larson and passed away 6/3/2011 in Tacoma, WA with his loving wife Helen by his side. Harold graduated from Stadium High in 1956 and was later drafted to play professional baseball by the St. Louis Cardinals.
Harold is survived by his wife Helen (Makaj) Larson; daughter, Karen (Ed) Arozarena; step-children, Dennis & Randy Mitton; Jennifer Gonzalez; sister, Linda (Doug) Durant; brother, Ray (Marilyn) Larson; 5 grandchildren; numerous extended family and friends. Preceded in death by daughter Jennifer Cowcher, son Jeff Larson.
