What's Cookin' in Real Estate? - A Local Perspective

UP local/REALTOR Kristin Niebergall talks about current issues in today's real estate market, offers tips on buying and selling and discusses ways to protect your real estate investment.

Hello, University Place!

My name is Kristin Niebergall. I am a local here in University Place who happens to be a wife, a mom and a full-time REALTOR® with Coldwell Banker Danforth & Associates. I grew up in the area, attended the local schools and know the territory like the back of my hand. After some years away, during which I worked in Germany and obtained my MBA, I returned to my old stomping grounds, became a REALTOR® and joined forces with my mom, Mary Loovis, to become The Tacoma Home Team.

The real estate market today is unlike any we have ever seen, so it is more important than ever to educate home buyers and home sellers about the process. In order to better serve my clients, I enjoy teaching seminars on buying and selling residential real estate.

As I blog, I am going to share bits and pieces of advice on buying and selling with you along with tips on how to protect your real estate investment. I’ll also talk a little bit about the University Place (and Tacoma) real estate market in general and share some statistics and trends. If you would like for me and others to shed some light on a particular topic, let me know and I’ll see what I can do.

I love UP! It is in this great community where I can greet friends while walking around the Chambers Bay golf course, serve in leadership in my MOPS group at UPPC, attend local community and school events, shop at Green Firs, drink lattes at our local coffee shops and scoot around in my black and white VW Beetle convertible.

I am so glad to have the opportunity to give you my perspective on real estate and look forward to seeing where our conversations go!
