UPFD and UP Presbyterian Church are teaming up to help collect shoes for the homeless to be distributed at Project Homless Connect on October 14th at the Tacoma Dome. The goal is to collect 3,000 pair of shoes around Pierce County for distribution at this event. Donation deadline is Oct. 14.
Residents can also donate at the fire district's station at 7909 40th Street W.
