Science Saturday at Charles Wright Academy

Science is a pretty big deal at Charles Wright Academy. Science Saturday is an even bigger deal and once a year we open up the school's science labs. Frankly, we can't think of a better way to get kids excited about science. The event is free and open to the public. However advance registration is required to attend. There are two tracks, depending on your child's age:

Grades 1-3: Geo Hunters

Working with Lower School science teachers, junior geologists will discover how minerals form, combine, and react to one another. Hands-on investigation and discovery including sifting for gemstones, probing for fossils, and radiating a rock!

Grades 4-6: Let's Blast Off!
Junior scientists are in for a wet and wild ride as they learn all about rockets. Participants will design, build, and launch a water rocket during this fun session.Β
Spaces fill up quickly and advance registration is required. Register here.
