Let's Play! Sports and Fitness Experience

Let’s Play! Sports & Fitness Experience is an
interactive adventure the minute you step into the building! For one day only,
this unique event brings together over forty different clubs and organizations
under one roof to introduce the crowd to the variety of amateur sports
available in our area. Clubs will demonstrate, instruct, and inform guest about
their sport or fitness activity in a hands-on approach. Kids and adults will
have the opportunity to sample, participate, and play in almost every sport
imaginable, regardless of age, ability or interest.

Let’s Play offers many special features throughout the day.
This year the YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties will be offering free 20 min.
swim instruction in a heated pool for kids age 5 and older. Changing tents and
towels will be provided so all you need to do is bring your swim suit.

For sci-fi fans, get your picture taken with Star Wars characters
throughout the day. So what does sports and Star Wars have in common? Not much,
but they are both lots of fun so it’s perfect for Let’s Play! You’ll see Princess
Leia, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Queen Amidala, TIE Pilots, Stormtroopers, Imperial
Crewmen, a Biker Scout and maybe The Emperor Himself!
