Curran Orchard Pruning Parties


Curran Apple Orchard Pruning Parties!

Spend a great day outside and learn how to prune at the Curran Apple Orchard Park!



Free pruning parties are scheduled on the below Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Curran Apple Orchard Park, 3920 Grandview Drive W, in University Place. Wear old clothes and boots along with bringing work gloves, hand pruners, hand saws, loppers and safety glasses if available. Some tools are available to borrow from the barn.



Master Gardeners will be present at all parties to provide advice on:

Volunteers are also needed to haul branches to the dumpsters. Refreshments are provided. Everyone is welcome to attend.

People interested in more information or who want to adopt an apple tree for one harvest season can contact CORE at apples@curranappleorchard.com. (Tree adopters can choose to prune their own tree or request a volunteer to do so for an additional charge).
