University Place Gets Snow Overnight

The National Weather Service is forecasting an accumulation of about a half an inch today.

It came while everyone was sleeping, but University Place did welcome snow overnight.

Here's today's forecast for University Place from the National Weather Service:

  • Today: A chance of snow showers before 10am, then a chance of rain and snow showers. Snow level rising to 600 feet. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 39. South southwest wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
  • Tonight: Rain and snow showers, mainly after 10pm. Snow level 500 feet. Low around 34. South wind 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
