THE HOT IS COMING: Temps Expected To Hit Lower 90's By Thursday, Friday

The National Weather Service predicts a sunny week for University Place and the rest of the region.

It's going to be a hot one.

The National Weather Service is predicting temperatures to hit the low 90's Thursday and Friday in University Place and the rest of the Puget Sound.

So stock up some sunblock, stay hydrated and prepare for warm temperatures.

Here is the forecast:

This Afternoon: Sunny, with a high near 82. North wind around 5 mph.
Tonight: Increasing clouds, with a low around 57. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming light and variable in the evening.
Tuesday: Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 74. Calm wind becoming north northwest around 6 mph in the afternoon.
Tuesday: Night Mostly clear, with a low around 55. Northeast wind around 6 mph.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 82. North northeast wind 6 to 9 mph.
Wednesday: Night Clear, with a low around 58.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 92.
Thursday: Night Clear, with a low around 60.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 93.
Friday: Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 56.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 78.
Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 56.
Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 71.

I know some people don't like the hot weather, but I kind of welcome it. After all, how many months during the rest of the year are people saying to themselves, "I wish I was in somewhere hot and sunny right now?" Am I completely off on this one?

We are wimps here in Western Washington Brent....we don't like it too hot....sunny and 74 is perfect....and 0 humidity! We'll even take it as low as 48 if the sun' s out without comaint . :-)

Nice Chris. You're right. When I went with my parents to Las Vegas a few years back, my dad, who's a native Northwesterner, couldn't even step outside.
