Partial Trail Closure Scheduled At Chambers Bay
Portion of Soundview Trail to close at the end of the month.
In preparation for the 2015 U.S. Open, Pierce County is making some changes to the Chambers Bay Golf Course and its surrounding trails.
As a result, a portion of the Soundview Trail will be closed for safety purposes, according to a news release from the county.
The closure area includes the North Meadow gates at the overlook to the Central Meadow. This section of the trail will be closed from Nov. 28 through Dec. 16.
