It's your Sweet 16, an important time in any city's life. You're coming into your own, going through changes inside, looking forward to taking the family car out for a spin, etc.

Trust us, we know the feeling. But no worries. Today is all about you.

There's no better way to mark your special day than with a special birthday party.

And because your folks are super-awesome, the whole community is invited. Your bash - a.k.a., the — begins at 10 a.m., and goes til 7:30 p.m. at Cirque Park.

An entire park? All we booked for my birthday parties was the backyard. Lucky.

As a 16-year-old, you probably have posters of Justin Bieber on your wall. Unfortunately, your folks couldn't swing an appearance from him or his hair, but they got you the next best thing: a !

There will also be a whole list of musical acts - all for you.

Your party will also feature local food, a car show, stuff for the kids and even some ethnic flair, as ESPN Deportes will be hosting a soccer clinic, cultural dancing and live broadcasts, as will KLAY.

Anyway, the best part is Patch, yes Patch, will be there to say hi and give out stuff. People can look for our tent. Pretty sweet, huh?

Well, before the festivities begin, I just want to wish you a happy Sweet 16, University Place. You've done some really neat stuff up to this point, and best is yet to come. (Cue the "awww" from the studio audience. Wait. We don't have a studio audience. Next year. Promise)
