Jane Monheit Live

• Where/When: 6:30 p.m. Sat, Apirl 23 at the Broadway Center for Performing Arts in Tacoma.
• Why Go: Jane Monheit is coming to Tacoma this Saturday for what's sure to be a memorable performance. Expect all your favorites as well as songs from her most recent album Home. Can't wait until Saturday? Visit the Jane Monheit website to get your fix.
• Pricing: Tickets are $39 and $49. Tickets are still available but hurry, sell out risk is high.

• Where/When: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Stina's Cellars in Lakewood.
• Why Go: Did you know Stina's Cellars moved from UP to Lakewood a few months ago? They still make all the same great wines, just from a much larger venue now. Stop by this Saturday for a tasting and check out their new spot. 
• Pricing: $5 tasting fee. 

• Where/When: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sat, April 23 at .
• Why Go: If your household recently went through its annual spring cleaning marathon, this event might be just what you need to finally get the junk out the door. Load up all the items that the trashman wouldn't haul away and bring it to University Place Refuse and Recycling for a safe and clean disposal.
• Pricing: The event is free, just bring some canned food items and help replenish the U.P. Food Bank.

• Where/When: 6 p.m. Sat, April 23 at Emerald Queen Casino.
• Why Go: Looking for a little excitement this weekend? A night of Mixed Martial Arts action might be just what you need. The fight card for CageSport XIV is stacked, 10 fights in total, including two championship bouts. Not exactly sure what Mixed Martial Arts is all about? This highlight video from YouTube should help you figure it out. (Note: Some scenes are graphic.)
• Pricing: Ticket prices are $35, $55 and $100.

Mighty Tacoma Exhibit

• Where/When: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. through Sunday at the Tacoma Arts Museum.
• Why Go: This is your last chance to catch the Mighty Tacoma exhibit. Make it out to the museum this weekend and see how these Tacoma based artists have captured the image and spirit of Tacoma before its to late.
• Pricing: Adults: $9, Students/Military/Senior: $8, Family (2 adults and up to 4 children under 18): $25, Children age 5 and under: Free.
