Four Patch Editors Win Washington Press Association Awards

Winning coverage included the beginning of legalized gay marriage in Washington state and the military trial of Robert Bales, accused of a nighttime massacre in Afghanistan.

Four Patch local editors were recognized Saturday for their work, winning awards in the Washington Press Association’s 2012 Communications Contest.

The winners in the daily newspapers category, honored at a luncheon at the Museum of Flight in Seattle, were:
