EASTER QUESTION: Where's The Worst Place To Hide An Egg?

We took to Facebook to get some suggestions. Feel free to add your own in the comment section or on University Place Patch's Facebook page.

When you hunted eggs as a kid, was there ever a time when you wondered, "Why the heck would anyone hide an Easter Egg here?"

Under a car. In the potato salad. In your auntie's wig.

Now that we're a tad wiser, we're going to let you in on a little secret: The adults knew it was a horrible place to place an egg, but they wanted to see the lengths you'd go to capture it. Every year, someone has to be a funny guy/girl and hide an egg in the weirdest, sometimes ickiest of places.

So we thought it would be fun to put you on notice, jokesters. We took to our Facebook page to solicit some of the worst places to hide an egg and make the whole experience that much more traumatic for kids. Here are some suggestions from our faithful followers of the Book of Face, and yes, these are a real answers:

  • In doo doo
  • In your underwear
  • On a ceiling fan blade
  • In the mud
  • In the dirty clothes bin

That was a great (and gross and kind of disturbing) start, but we want to keep it going, for the sake of laughter. So here it is Patch users. Give us your best, um, worst place to hide an egg. The user who submits the best entry will get a Patch water bottle and other Patch swag.

Let's have fun with it. Obviously, we don't want to make it too weird or gross. Someone's hair or shoes are funny. Pretty much any other body part is off-limits. You get my drift.

So let's see it, Patch users. You might actually be helping your fellow jokesters. Get creative. Get funny. And don't laugh too hard when the kids are looking through the dirty clothes bin for some eggs.
