UPDATE: Patch User Says Former Reddy 2 Go Store Has New Tenant

Randy Boss says a smoke shop has moved into the spot on 40th Street West, which has remained vacant for a few months.

UPDATE: 2 p.m., 6/1/12

First off, thanks to everyone who responded with their suggestions.

Great feature for Patch readers....!

FYI - The smoke shop from the Albertson's center moved into this space yesterday!

We recently moved the Great Clips into the new building on the corner of 40th & Bridgeport so we could create a new, 4,000-sq-ft space for a new state liquor store along that side of the Albertson's. Of course you know what happened with the state liquor stores. The owners would like to put in a local breakfast, lunch and dinner cafe style restaurant on 40th street so find me a great operators.

Thank you so much for the update, Randy. I also think you've given Patch its next idea for our "What Should Go Here?" feature.

---

You ever drive past an empty storefront or building and say, "You know what they should put there ...?"

Well, so do we.

That's why today, University Place Patch is starting a new set of items in which we can discuss what should go in these empty spots.

There's nothing scientific about this, nor do they have any bearing on what will eventually go in these locations. Heck, there could already be a tenant-in-waiting that we don't even know about.

But it makes for great fodder, doesn't it?

Anyway, we now ask you, UP Patch users: What should go here, at the former location at the Reddy 2 Go Food Store?
