VIEWFINDER: Cirque Forza's Beloved Douglas Remembered

Friends of the coffee shop's most loyal and recognizable customer remembered him over the weekend at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.

may be gone, but his friends proved Saturday that he won't be forgotten.

The people who grew so close to the University Place man over the last few years - including the staff and patrons of on Cirque - gathered at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.

The service included military honors for Swan, a veteran who had become part of the coffee shop's family. A part of them was gone when Swan succumbed to his failing health in January.

But friend Beth Stone and others wanted to assure he received a proprer memorial. On Saturday, from the people who loved him most, he sure as heck got one.
