South Sound Restaurants to be Featured on The Food Network's 'Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives'

Guy Fieri recently toured the South Sound and will feature Tacoma-area restaurants on his network TV show, 'Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.'

Tacoma is taking over The Food Network, as a few local restaurants , with air dates starting tonight through March.

Guy Fieri came through town in November and took a bite out of 6th Avenue, Puyallup and Parkland.

Tonight's episode features Crockett's Public House in Puyallup. In it, Fieri tries the homemade meatballs and fire grilled artichokes. The episode airs at 10 p.m. (Patch stopped by Crockett's to check it out for lunch recently. Read our food review!)

When Fieri visits 6th Ave., he stops in The Crown Bar and shows off the kitchen's grill work and is slated to air March 4.

The episode featuring fellow 6th Ave. neighbor Dirty Oscar's Annex (DOA) hasn't been scheduled yet but is expected to air sometime mid-March or early April.

Bruno’s European Restaurant in Parkland will be featured on Feb. 25 when Fieri takes on Euro-centric cuisine.

Olympia was also recently featured on the Food Network show. Episodes taped at Darby’s Cafe and Fish Tale Brew Pub have already aired this year.
