Ronald Messenger Named President At New Tacoma Cemeteries & Funeral Home

The general manager at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lakewood, which he joined in 1991. He takes over for Henry "Jack" Harding, who is retiring after 53 years with New Tacoma.

Ronald Messenger has been named president at New Tacoma Cemeteries & Funeral Home (NTC). He assumes his position today, taking over for Henry "Jack" Harding, who is retiring after 53 years with the company.

Messenger comes to NTC from Mountain View Funeral Home, which he joined in 1991 and served most recently as general manager. He graduated from the funeral services program at Mount Hood Community College in Gresham, Ore. in 1980. Prior to joining Mountain View Funeral Home, Messenger worked in Spokane Wash., starting at his father’s funeral home in the 1970's. He is a past member of the Clover Park Rotary Club, member of Fircrest Golf Club and has served at the district level in the Washington State Funeral Directors Association.
