Readers’ Choice Poll: Where’s the Best Place to Do Your Taxes in Gig Harbor?

Vote in our poll and let us know in the comments.

The IRS says about 60 percent of taxpayers will use a professional tax preparer this year to file their returns.

And while the agency offers these tips on how to choose a preparer, we want to know where you go in Gig Harbor for great tax preparation service. Who always helps you get it done right? (And at the last minute, for some of you?)

Vote for your favorite in the poll below:

And click on the links above and rate the business on its Patch Directory listing. You can even leave a review.

In the event of a tie, we will break it based on the comments here and reviews on the Patch Directory listing, so please explain your choice.

The poll closes at 9 a.m. Friday, and we’ll announce the winner later that day.

Don't see your favorite place? Tell us in the comments section. Have a favorite in the next town over? Vote for the best place to do your taxes in University Place or Lakewood, too.

Because our poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be based on a point system in which poll results and Patch Place ratings are weighted equally. In the event of a tie, the Patch editor will determine the winner based on comments and reviews on Patch Places. For full contest details, see the attached PDF with the rules. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

My former tax man had been the auditor for the California State Department of Corrections. He was in prisons for 25 years, dealing with many complications, but never as an inmate. The Tax Shack was effecient in filing California, Washington state and federal taxes. They processed the complicated forms in less time than did my friend, who worked only for personal clients.
