My family has been waiting since we saw the first sign. We are going tomorrow for lunch. We can't wait either. LeAnn you are right, you can't get out of any place without it costing at least $10.00.

gosh Chris, were have you eaten." Lots of places LeAnn, the last place being Boathouse 19, where the fish tacos at $11, were delicious, and the view superb, (although the music was hard rock and LOUD). I still think that lunch prices over $8.99 for a buffet is excessive. I can only assume the price reflects our city's high impact fees for new businesses. Unless you are being served by a qualified professional, I don't like seeing lunch prices that high....but that is only my opionion. I only hope that the place is clean. The last chinese buffet I ate at had a cockroach join us on our table. That place is now a 7-11.

We went tonight and were less than pleased. Highly over-priced and the food that wasn't as common appeared to have been sitting there for hours. The more common food choices weren't replenished in the time we were there, despite patron's requests. I was taken aback at the lack of 'self serve' for the beverages, although they do give refills upon request. I can't seem to come to terms with the single use silverware wrapped in a single, very small napkin, however. Especially with having small children, we prefer more than one napkin, particularly when we have to use the same fork. We'd rather not have to leave our only eating utensil on the bare table top while visiting the buffet, so we're forced to leave it on our only napkin. I get they are likely trying to cut down on costs that way, but it certainly didn't reflect in our $92.00 bill that was delivered to our table half way through my family's first plate, and placed in front of my children. Yikes. I'm huge on supporting local business, and we definitely enjoy a new dining experience, but Fortune Place didn't come close to meeting our expectations, unfortunately. That being said, our family wishes them the very best in their business adventure, and hopes to see a few changes made in the future. Thanks for getting the word out on their opening, Patch!

We also went last night I have to agree with Imagen's comments above. Wish them the best, hope they can make it, but unfortunately not with my families business.

My wife and I went last Friday. Ditto to everything that Imagen said. Food was nothing spectacular but wasn't unpleasant either. I was hoping it would have a mongolian grill like the buffet in James Center, but no luck. Seemed pricey for what you get and we would have been better off just going to the China Express at Safeway, or better yet, the other asian place that recently opened across the parking lot in the new building (sorry, can't remember the name). Two of us with a modest tip was $42. As Billy Bob said in Bad Santa, "Hey, they can't all be winners." I really doubt if we'll be back. By the way, I spent most of my meal reminiscing about all the good times I had at Blockbuster. Seriously, I did have good times there.

Me and my girlfriend went to check this place out after eating at AAA Buffet and not closed Azain Buffet to see what it was like. Well I can honestly say that I will NVER go there again!. The food section was not new at all and could be found at other asain buffets. The food did not taste very good either! The desert section was really limited having only 4 types of cakes and apple on the buffet line. The ice cream machine was the same as anywhere else. Vanilla, Chocolate, and swirl. You should only come to this place if you have a craving for crab legs or Korean Short ribs. The Korean short ribs were ok at best myself being Korean. It was $35 for the both of us and we could have eating at a variety of other places and have gotten a better variety and quality of food!

Perhaps they feel it's not worth the prices they are charging?
