GOOD NEWS, UNIVERSITY PLACE FOODIES: Fortune Place Buffet To Open Wednesday

The much-anticipated Asian fusion restaurant will offer buffet-style and take-out dining.

The wait is over, University Place foodies.

Fortune Place Buffet - the Asian fusion restaurant that is replacing the former in the Albertsons shopping center - will open its doors for buffet and take-out dining Wednesday.

That's right, get ready to grab those chopsticks and grub.

Patch stopped by today and spoke to the owner, Tom, who assures that the restaurant will open Wednesday.

He even gave me a menu with the following description:

Over 250 items daily with alteration includes: Appetizers, soup, salad bar, sushi bar, BBQ, spareribs, shrimp, oyster, crab legs, beef, chicken, pork, dumpling, vegetables, hibachi, fruit, dessert, ice cream.

 

Here's the price breakdown:

Mon-Sat: Lunch $9.99; Dinner $14.99

Sunday: (All Day) $14.99

Children 3-10, lunch $5.99; dinner $8.99

Children under 3 are free

 

Here are the hours:

Sunday through Thursday: 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Friday through Saturday: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
