1. Krispy Kreme
The deal: Stop into the popular doughnut franchise on Thursday and celebrate National Coffee Day with a free 12-ounce cup of their House Blend java. If you strike while the “hot” sign is lit, you just may snag a free regular doughnut to go with your coffee.

4. Taco Del Mar
The deal: Nothing says happy birthday like a free cheese quesadilla or taco. Sign up your child – age 12 and under –for Club Carlos and they will get a postcard in the mail for a free kids meal on their birthday every year until they turn 12. All kids meals come with chips and a drink.

5. JC Penney
The deal: Sign up for the retailer’s mobile mailing list by submitting your name and cellphone number and receive a coupon for $10 off your purchase of $30. A good deal to stack with fall sales on sweaters, coats and newly arriving cold-weather accessories.
