Frog n Kiwi Cafe Scheduled to Open Next Week Without Play Area

Exciting news for people awaiting the opening of the Frog n Kiwi Cafe at University Place Town Center.

Owners Marc and Kelly Grau posted this message on the future shop's Facebook page within the last hour:

The cafe side will open next week, but the play center will remain closed until we finish putting all the fund toys together. Please stay tuned on when we will open.

The couple plans to open the spot where customers will be able to pick up an espresso, smoothie, sandwich and other goodies. Located next to the , it will also offer a sound-proof area with a 20-foot-wide, 6- to 7-foot-tall play structure that kids can use for a fee.

So while fans anxiously awaiting a smoothie or snack from Frog n Kiwi will finally be able to enjoy Town Center's first retail business, children (and their parents) will have to wait a tad longer for the UPlay Town Center.
