University Place Refuse & Recycling Reduces Rate of Storm Debris Disposal to Help With Storm Cleanup

The local garbage company says it will take storm debris at its facility during normal business and on Feb. 11. The cost has been reduced to $5 per yard of material.

In light of last week's snow and ice, I just got this message posted on Facebook page:

I know you all have a bunch of debris left over from the storm(s) last week. My sources are telling me that we are taking storm debris at our facility during normal business hours (8:30-4:30, M-F) and on Saturday, February 11, from 9-4. The cost is a reduced rate of $5 per yard of material.

The easiest way to get rid of the material is to cut it up and place it in your yard waste bin for curbside pickup. Thanks again for all your patience through all of this!
