Here are the dates University Place School District students and parents need to know for the 2013-14 school year.
Heads up, University Place parents. The UP School District has released its list of important dates for the 2013-14 school year:
- Sept. 2: Labor Day
- Sept. 3: First Day of School
- Nov. 11: Veterans' Day - no school
- Nov. 21-27: Conferences Early release P-7
- Nov. 28-29: Thanksgiving Vacation
- Dec. 23-Jan. 3: Winter Vacation
- Jan. 20: M. L. King Jr. Day - no school
- Jan. 22-24: Early release grades 8-12
- Feb. 17: Presidents Day - no school
- Feb. 18-21: Mid Winter Break - no school
- April 14-18: Spring Vacation
- May 23: Snow makeup day
- May 26: Memorial Day - no school
- June 17: Last Day of School
