Saturday: 'Art Inspires Art' with Dance Theater Northwest and Museum of Glass
Join Dance Theatre Northwest at the Tacoma Museum of Glass this Saturday for an inspirational presentation, 'Art Inspires Art.'
Take in the beauty of Tacoma's Museum of Glass and classical dance in a special presentation this Saturday afternoon.
Dance Theatre Northwest's artistic director, Melanie Kirk-Stauffer, will present a lecture demonstration accompanied by Classical and Contemporary Ballet and Jazz dance, music, costume and slides highlighting the glass artistry of Benjamin Moore, Dick Weiss, Ben Edols, Kelly Knickerbocker, Richard Royal,and Dante Marioni.
Featured performers include Katie Neumann and Chhay Mam. The event is free with museum admission, with performances at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
