His anecdote: I was at a sporting event gentleman behind me gasped and fell over. I climbed over the seat andfirst established that he was breathing. As I checked the man’s pulse rhythm, a woman stormed over and pushed me away.
“Step aside! I’m a nurse!” she shouted. She then proceeded to examine the man.
As I retreated to my seat, I announced, “When you get to the part about ‘Call a doctor,’ I’ll be here.”

Ironically, I took my father to his doctor yesterday, and read your anecdote in their September issue of Reader's Digest while I was in the waiting room. I wonder if, by chance, you saw a version of this anecdote in the same Reader's Digest issue I read it in, oh, maybe forty years ago? Details slightly changed, still hilarious!
