Sharing Memories: Veteran’s Day at the History Museum

Commemorate Veteran’s Day by reading aloud recollections written by or about military service members. The public is invited to recount short personal experience related to American armed forces or memories of someone in military service. Please indicate if the museum has permission to post the story and to read it aloud.

The deadline for submissions is November 1. A submission should indicate whether we have permission to post the story in the History Museum and read it aloud. Although a story can be posted and read anonymously if requested, the submission must include the name, address, and phone number of the person who wrote it. Submissions become the property of the Washington State Historical Society.
