Ann Kullberg's “Portraits in Colored Pencil I”

  • Ann Kullberg's “Portraits in Colored Pencil I” is a three day workshop, from October 14-16, 2011, Friday from 2 pm-8 pm (break for dinner); Saturday and Sunday from 10 am-4 pm (breaks for lunches). Meals will be at nearby restaurants.

Ann Kullberg is a very successful artist and a well-known teacher for aspiring colored pencil artists. Many of us own or know of her fabulous book, "Colored Pencil Portraits Step by Step." Ann will teach techniques for creating life-like portraits with a supporting background. This will be an opportunity for you to learn how to achieve painterly effects in developing flesh tones and to render hair and individual facial features. The workshop will also include advice on the business side of portraiture, covering contracts, commissions, finding clients, fees, and use of the internet. Ann gives each artist a lot of individual guidance. You may see Ann’s work at www.annkullberg.com   For more information go to www.francesbuckmaster.com.  Click on the Workshops/Classes tab. Hold a space by making a deposit.
