Uh oh. Is there an igloo competition brewing. Excellent stuff, Lisa.

Step pyramid igloo....way cool! Is this to honor 12/21/12 and the Mayan calendar ;-)

So happy to see all the pictures Guige posted of the Tacoma Narrows Rotary/UP community garden. I even saw my celery. Can anyone recognize which picture it is? Pleased to announce we delivered upward of 50 lbs of produce to Families Unlimited Network.
Brent Champaco August 27, 2012 at 06:03 AM
Awesome, Sue! I thought I picked out your celery, but just to be sure, can you give us a hint? :)

These photos are great. Whether it's Micayla's shot of Chambers Creek Properties or Chris' salmon or Guige's shots of the community garden, they are all so detailed and vivid. You all could teach this Patch editor more than a thing or two about photography. Keep posting!

Arne Handeland has just published a book on the history of University Place. I believe you can get it on Amazon & maybe Barnes & Noble. It has loads of pictures & is really interesting. I am sure you would enjoy it. TITLE: Images of America University Place. (www.arcadiapublishing.com ISBN: 13978-0-7385-9515-3 OR ISBN-100-7385-9515-2 They will love University Place. UP faces Puget Sound.
Christie Anderson March 01, 2013 at 12:42 AM
University Place is bordered by the Puget Sound on it's west side. The only bay I am aware of is Chambers Bay Golf Course, lol...unless you refer to where Chambers Creek meets the Puget Sound, then that is at the southwest border of University Place and Steilacoom....if it is an actual "bay". Beautiful area though.

It would be great if these photos could be grouped by date.... the third photo I looked at was from over a year ago (snow!). Thanks!

Brent...is it possible to create a new blog for UP Pics and Clips by year, ie; "University Place Pics and Clips 2011","University Place Pics and Clips 2012", "University Place Pics and Clips 2013", ect...so that it lake less time to surf through all the photos that are submitted?
