VIEWFINDER: Red, White and Festive At Steilacoom's Fourth of July Parade

From Boy Scouts and bikes to dogs and dancers, there was no shortage of fun for those along the parade route.

There were Boy Scouts and kids on bikes. Dogs and dancers. Antique cars and Congressional and Legislative candidates sprinkled into the mix.

They were all part of the annual Steilacoom Fourth of July parade, which kicked off the afternoon's festivities by winding through town and ending in town square, where the street fair was set up. Most of the groups were from Steilacoom and Lakewood. There were plenty of people from University Place as well.

The parade route was jammed with revelers of all ages, from all over the region. Kids hoping for candy, people pushing strollers and walking their furry friends, Steilacoom residents wearing the town's signatureΒ 4th of July shirts.
