Although Lady Gaga's show is tonight in Tacoma, she already had some fans screaming over the weekend in University Place.

Those excited cheers were coming from Peace Out, the UP-based youth service group. University Place Patch Facebook user Michelle posted the following on our page:

BRENT!!! OMG we are freaking out here at PEACE OUT!! Peace Out was found and contacted by LADY GAGAs PEOPLE!!! WE are the only Tacoma organization invited to be a FRONTLINE partner of the Born Brave Bus Tour on Monday! Pretty cool considering there are so many amazing and deserving local programs serving our youth!! WHOO HOOOO!!

That's huge news for the group, which will serve as youth service representative at the show. Her foundation - the Born This Way Foundation - is dedicated to creating a safe community where individuality is celebrated by connecting youth with the skills, resources and opportunities they need to build a braver, kinder world, according to Peace Out.

The next obvious question: Who gets to go?

Well, in diplomatic, Peace Out fashion, the group conducted a random drawing. It put the names of all of its students who are in their second Peace Out program in a hat and drew the following students:

  • Zoe Ferguson
  • Emma Schumacher
  • Ceciley Weinman
  • Alexandra Sampson
  • Taylor Burkhart
  • Andrew Bugal

"We are proud to say that each one of these students have over 100 community service hours with Peace Out," the group wrote on its page.

What a cool honor for a great group! You all deserve every bit of recognition for your efforts. And Lady Gaga? OMG.
