The List: Places To Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth

The List wants candy. Come journey with us as we explore some great local sweet shops. Try not to get too hungry!

The List is craving some sugary treats! With Easter just around the corner, it's a good idea to sample the upcoming confections, right? Sure! Check out these sweet local businesses.

1. Affairs Chocolate and Desserts (University Place)

Why here: Beautiful and delectable truffles with an array of flavors is an Affairs feature and customer favorite. And don't forgot to check out the gorgeous and delicious cakes and cookies, too.

Why here: A mind blowing amount of flavors of gourment popcorn, Jelly Bellys, taffy, gummi candies, jaw breakers, old fashioned candy, and hand dipped chocolates. Can you say, YUM?

 

3. Brown and Haley (Tacoma)

Why here: Home of the famous Almond Roca candy, the official Cand King of Grit City. Crunchy, sweet, and fabulous--you can't just have one!

 

4. Sugar (Tacoma)

Why here: This wee shop located in the heart of the Proctor District
gives you fun and creative candies (plus some vintage goodies that
take you down memory lane). Fun for adults and kids alike.



5. Johnson's Candy Company (Tacoma)

Why here: Another long time Tacoma gem of sugary goodness. Known for
the Easter candies and great service.



6. See's Candies (Tacoma)

Why here: Smack dab in the middle of the Tacoma Mall, this classic
candy joint offers loads of chocolate, nutty, and hard candies. Bonus:
generous free samples!
