Sun Makes Everything, Well, Sunnier

But don't expect today's rays to last. Rain is expected to return to the Puget Sound beginning Wednesday.

It makes days brighter, skies bluer, and blooming white trees whiter.

But today's respite from the wet, drab weather - today's highs reached the mid-50s - isn't expected to last. The National Weather Service in Seattle predicts rain could return by tonight, and there's a 90-percent chance that rain will return to University Place on Wednesday, with highs in the low 50s.
