A Patch user shared these Saturday.

Check out these photos posted by Patch user Jason:

A buddy ... suggested I share these photos with you.  There was a group of 5 Orcas spread out between Chambers Bay today & Fox Island.

Thanks for sharing Jason!

Hi Peggy - It was definitely on Saturday, although the user didn't specify what time he saw it. I'll keep checking.

Do you think they were looking for a place to eat? Howard

Does anyone know if they are still around today?

I believe those are part of a transient pod seen recently in Puget Sound; they prey on marine mammals, as opposed to resident pods, which are fish eaters. A great resource is the Orca Network's sightings page: http://www.orcanetwork.org/sightings/map.html
